The Ladies Aid extends an invitation to and will welcome any ladies who would like to join our team.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  Anyone who may be interested in serving as an usher or greeter or as a lay reader during
worship services or any person willing to provide light refreshments following a worship service is invited to sign up on one of
the lists provided downstairs in the Vestry.  These are great opportunities to take an active part in our corporate fellowship
without making a long-term commitment.  If you would like to receive an email notification concerning upcoming church-related
activities, there are sign-up sheets on a clipboard at the rear of the Sanctuary or you may email your request to Janice Lufkin
Shea at

MNISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:  Coffee hour is an important part of our Sunday experience as we share in a time of fellowship and a
deepening of our relationships. It would be great if we had someone in charge of coordinating sign ups, a hostess perhaps.  Don’
t want to coordinate but want to help, please sign up for a Sunday in fellowship hall. It doesn't need to be an elaborate breakfast,
just a few treats and coffee. Not sure what it is all about? Please speak to Rev. Mike. This is an important ministry and we would
like to see it continue.

Also, after almost two years of service to this very important ministry, Margie Akerley is stepping down as our community meal
coordinator. Her last meal will be in January of 2015. Thank you for your service, Margie! This is an important ministry of our
church which serves 30 to 40 people once a month. More than the food we serve, it allows for an opportunity for people to join
together in Christian fellowship. If you have the gift of organization we invite you to speak to Margie or Rev. Mike. We have it
down to a science but need someone who can keep this important ministry going.

We are looking for a church member who would be interested in organizing these once monthly Wednesday Night Community
Meals. What does the coordinator do?

•        Ensures that we have someone to make the main dish (funds are available)
•        Responsible for getting people to help with set up and clean up
•        Request people to bring a salad or side dish when needed
•        Lock the church after everyone has left

(Additional details and instructions are available)

This is a wonderful ministry opportunity for someone who has the give of organization. We have 30 to 40 guests at the dinners
and it is a wonderful time of fellowship and community. Interested? Please speak to Rev. Mike or Margie Akerley
