Calendar of Upcoming Church Activities, Spring 2014

Sunday, April 20th, EASTER SUNDAY SERVICES

Sunrise Service 6:00 a.m.
Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Those who wish, will have the
opportunity to renew their Baptismal vows. We will also be celebrating the sacrament of Holy
Communion.  Continental breakfast to follow.

At 10:00 a.m. we will gather again for our Easter Service and the FLOWERING OF THE CROSS. Come
and experience the transformation as the once dark and lifeless cross transforms into sign and
symbol of new life. A new life promised to us through the resurrection of our Lord.

Sunday, May 4th, COMMUNION SUNDAY
It is our custom to observe the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month
as well as at other times appointed by the Pastor and Deacons. On those Sundays we also
welcome the offerings of canned goods which we collect for the Cape Ann Food Pantry. They are
received in the barrel placed at the rear of the sanctuary. Also, an offering plate is placed on the
table at the rear of the sanctuary on those Sundays in which we welcome monetary contributions
for the Deacons' Fund. This fund is used by the Deacons to meet special needs in the community
and its recipients are held in confidence and are known only to the Deacons.
